Stephen Siu, Chair of Chinese Canadian Photographic Society of Toronto, and a close friend of the Joint-U, is to tell us his life-long journey of learning photography, from using camera equipment to simple photo editing. He’ll touch on photographic concepts, fundamentals, and genres, hoping to enhance our skills and help us unlock our creativity on our photographic journey.
There are many ways to capture the world with our camera, but sometimes we might just need a little inspiration and imagination to add more creativity and originality to our photographs.
Every photograph can be a story, an ever-lasting memory, or “a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone.” We take pictures so that one day we can relive the fond memories of our life.
How to take good photographs? How to tell a story through our photographs? How to make a photograph touch its viewers? Are there rules for good photographs?
