蕭顯揚先生 Mr. Stephen Siu (Hon. FCCPS, Hon. FYMCAPC)

蕭顯揚先生是加拿大華裔社羣領袖之一，於2009年獲頒加拿大紅楓傳奇人物獎。2017年獲加拿大上議院頒受加拿大150週年勛章，及獲多倫多大學頒受 Arbor Award。 蕭先生義務擔任本會顧問及董事超越十年，於2013年獲本會頒綬名譽高級會士名銜。期間蕭先生除每年為本會擔任攝影比賽與名銜考試評審，及主持講座外，同時領導本會參與本地社區每年一度的亞裔文化月藝術活動，義務提供攝影服務給頤康長期護理中心舉辦的慈善項目，以及協助多倫多香港經濟及貿易處籌辦大型攝影展覽，在本年九月二日至十月三十一日於加拿大各大城市舉辦的”大地之旅” 攝影展覽，用照片展示世界與加拿大的風光美景，吸引眾多主流社會人士注意及欣賞本會會友們的作品。蕭先生於2014至2018年擔任本會董事會主席，於2021年再被推選擔任主席至今。

Mr. Siu is a Chinese community leader in Toronto and a recipient of "Chinese Canadian Legend" Award, the Canada 150 Award from the Senate of Canada, and the University of Toronto's Arbor Award. He has served CCPST for more than 10 years in different capacities. He has acted as judge in different CCPST photo contests and annual title examinations, as well as given a couple of photography seminars each year to CCPST and other photographic organizations. Mr. Siu also served as the chairman of the Board of Directors from 2014 to 2018 and from 2021 to 2023. In his tenure as Board Chairman, he has brought CCPST to the main-stream community by participating in activities organized by the Asian Heritage Month - Canadian Foundation for Asian Culture, charity activities organized by Yee Hong Community Wellness Foundation, and photographic exhibitions in collaboration with the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office. The most recent “ A Landscape Journey “ Photography Exhibition, featuring International Landscape Photographer Kelvin Yuen and CCPST members, was organized by Mr. Siu, who took the exhibits from Calgary, Vancouver to Winnipeg, Montreal and Toronto. The touring exhibition helped elevate CCPST's status and gave excellent exposure to CCPST in the Canadian community.
